We're back for our Autumn event at Blue Beck in Macclesfield.

The talk will cover the benefits of open source AI, the timeline of major breakthroughs and the current landscape of open source large language models, image generation and more. It will give an overview of how you can run these yourself either on your own hardware, or in the cloud.

 

Open Sourcing More Than Just The Code - Terence Burridge

Often when we talk of 'open source' projects, it's easy to think of it only in terms of the code being available to everyone to view and modify as they need to. But being truly open source involves more than just sharing the code. It's about sharing the ideas and ethos behind that code too.

 

Advanced Excel - Array Formula for Data Processing - Nick Young

After explaining what array formula are, we will process some example data using most of the available functions.

 

Our hosts Blue Beck will be providing complimentary refreshments and catering.
